The effect persists for 4 rounds, and which point the affected creature may make a new save each round at the start of their turn to end the effect. Once it has successfully resisted, a subject remains immune to that uvuudaum's confusion aura for 24 hours. The save DC is Charisma-based. ### Handy (Ex) An uvuudaum's hand-like feet are fully articulate, allowing them to almost always have a free hand ready and to resist combat maneuvers effectively. They gain a +8 bonus to their CMD against bullrush, drag, grapple, reposition and trip attempts. ### Wisdom Drain (Su) An uvuudaum's head spike transmits incomprehensible, obscene vistas into the subject's head, draining 2d4 points of Wisdom each time the uvuudaum strikes. A DC 47 Will save negates the wisdom drain. An uvuudaum is a manifestation of a distant realm where the rules of proper dimension are meaningless. When an uvuudaum manifests in common realms of matter and though, it is terrible to behold. An uvuudaum is a humanoid creature with two standard human arms that protrude from the torso where expected, but whose lower body has six arms instead of legs, splayed spiderlike below it (tough loose clothing somewhat drapes its grotesque legs). The real horror is the taillike appendage replacing what would be a head on anormal creature. At the very end of the appendage is an iron-hard spike. Uvuudaums hail from a space beyond the planes that is terrifyingly remote from standard planar geometries. The entities that abide in this far realm are inchoate, different, and alien. Outside time, unspeakable things whisper awful truths to those who dare listen. Uvuudaums partake in and are part of this madness, which they delight in revealing, by their mere presence, in more structured realities. ### Combat Uvuudaums prefer to rely on their confusion aura and spell-like abilities against foes, but if that is impractical or ineffective they will wade into combat using power attack and vital strike to deal with more resiliant foes.
