### Crush (Ex)
A flying or jumping lucient worm can land on foes as a standard action, using its whole body to crush them. Crush attacks are effective only against opponents three or more size categories smaller. A crush attack affects as many creatures as fit in the lucient worm’s space. Creatures in the affected area must succeed on a DC 28 Reflex save or be pinned, automatically taking bludgeoning damage during the next round unless the lucient worm moves off them. If the it chooses to maintain the pin, it must succeed at a combat maneuver check as normal. Pinned foes take damage from the crush each round if they don’t escape.

A lucent worm can automatically sense the location of anything within 60 feet that is in contact with the ground.

Those who encounter a lucent worm often do so before theyknow the creature is near. Although massive in size, a lucentworm is adept at hiding itself. This, combined with its versa-tile means of locomotion, ensures that the lucent wormrarely goes hungry.An adult lucent worm measures 5 feet in diameter andalmost 100 feet long, weighing in at 55,000 to 60,000pounds. A worm’s skin is almost completely translucent—enabling observers to see its internal organs and whateverthe creature had as a recent meal—and covered with mil-lions of tiny hairlike cilia that provide the worm with aLUCENTWORMmeans of movement. Its mouth bristles with dozens ofsharp teeth.A lucent worm requires a massive amount of food tomaintain its weight, so it is always on the lookout for moresustenance. Its digestive system canassimilate only organic matter, however,so small objects often get trapped in itsgizzard, while larger indigestible materi-als are left behind as waste.
