As a standard action, the sandhog can make the sand or soil in the area flow like water to a depth of 3 feet. Any Large or smaller creature in this area must succeed at a DC 13 Reflex or held fast within the sand and gain the entangled condition. Entangled creatures can take a full round action to attempt a Strength check or Escape Artist check (DC 21) to escape the effect. A fiery sandhog can use this ability at will, but can only have one such area active at a time. ### Heat Ray (Su) A sandhog primary attack is a heat ray. This attack has a range of 70 feet. ### Poison (Ex) Bite—Injury; save Fort DC 13; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d2 Strength damage; cure 1 save. The DC save is Constitution-based.
