The visage can only take on roughly humanoid shapes. The visage gains a +20 bonus on disguise and bluff checks to pass as the creature whose identity it has consumed. The visage retains its victim's skills and knowledge, giving it a bonus on skill checks equal the victim's ranks in those skills. The visage does not gain the victim's extraordinary, supernatural, or spell-like abilities, not does it gain any spellcasting powers of the victim. This effect lasts for 24 hours, though the visage can dismiss it at will. While a visage is in the form of its victim, that victim can't be returned to life except by a true resurrection spell, or similarly powerful magic. The use of such magic immediately ends the effect. ### Brain Lock (Su) As a standard action, an ethereal doppelganger can lock away the higher mind of an opponent up to 300 feet away. A successful DC 22 Will save negates the effect, otherwise, the targeted creature is dazed for 20 rounds. This is a mind-affecting effect. The save DC is Charisma-based. ### Mind Wipe (Su) With any successful melee touch attack, an ethereal doppelganger can wipe all memory of its existence from an opponent's mind (no saving throw). This ability otherwise functions as modify memory.
