#### special abilities
### Drone (Su)
As a full-round action, an abeil can beat its wings to create a droning buzz in a 60-foot spread. Each creature in the area must make a Will save (DC 14) or fall asleep. Abeils are immune to their own drone attacks as well as those of other abeils.
### Hive Mind (Ex)
Abeils share a telepathic bond with other members of their hive that enhances their hive mates’ perception. As long as a abeil is within telepathic range of at least one hive mate, it gains a +4 racial bonus on initiative checks and Perception checks. If at least one abeil disbelieves an illusion, all abeil within its telepathic range are also considered to disbelieve that illusion. If one abeil is aware of combatants, all other hive mates within the range of its telepathy are also aware of those combatants.
### Impale (Ex)
An abiel who makes a successful grapple check automatically hits their opponent with their sting.
### Poison (Ex)
Sting—Injury; save Fort DC 16; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d2 Strength damage; cure 1 save. The DC save is Constitution-based.
### Special Enemy (Ex)
An abeil soldier may select a type of creature as a special enemy. This ability is functions as the ranger's favored enemy ability, granting the abiel a +3 bonus.
### Stormwing (Su)
As a full-round action, a soldier in flight can hover and deliver a destructive sonic attack with its wings. The attack deals 6d6 points of damage to creatures within a 40-foot burst (Reflex save DC 16 for half damage). Once the soldier uses this ability, it must wait 1d4 rounds before using it again. Abeils are immune to this effect.
