Each effect lasts only for the howling dragon's turn, unless stated otherwise. *Act normally:* The howling dragon gains the affects of the _rage_ spell. *Babble incoherently:* Creatures within 100 feet of the babbling dragon take a -2 to attack rolls and skill checks until the start of the howling dragon's next turn. This is a sonic affect. *Damage self:* All creatures in or adjacent to the howling dragon's space also take 1d8 + the howling dragon's Str modifier damage. *Attack nearest creature:* If making a full attack, the howling dragon can make one additional attack at its highest base attack bonus, as if under the effect of _haste_. ### Maddening Breath (Su) Instead of a cone of sonic energy, a howling dragon can breath a cone maddening wails. Creatures within the cone must succeed on a Will save for take 1 point of Wisdom damage per age category. A successful save halves the damage. ### Psyche Up (Ex) A young adult or older howling dragon can psyche itself up with a howling cry as an immediate action. This gives the howling dragon a morale bonus on a single attack roll, saving throw, skill check or caster level check equal to his Charisma modifier. Once used, this ability cannot be used again for 1d4 rounds. ### Raucous (Ex) A juvenile or older howling dragon will not be silenced. Any of the howling dragon's sonic-based supernatural abilities, spells or spell-like abilities ignore silence effects of 1st level or lower.
