# Court of the Eldar The Rulers of the Wyldwood are figures of immense and ancient power, capable of manipulating the the [[Tergeren Mists]] that shape all forms of life, and awaken them to the world that surrounds them. The most well known of the Eldar Lords is Tyrmaria, the dead and constantly reborn mother of monsters, worshiped by the Vaal. The barbaric and rapacious Anthorans are devout worshippers of hers and thus her name and image are carved in blood across the outskirts of many civilized lands. But the Lords of the Fey are ### Aidella Aspara, Lord of Furrow and Flower Ruler of the plant fey ### Tyrmaria, Lady of Monsters and Mayhem Ruler of the animal fey ### Sumarar, Lady of Light and Life Ruler of the faerie fey, and steward of the animal fey ### Maenadan, Lord of Sea and Storm Ruler of the water-based fey ### Murigan, Lord of Air and Darkness Ruler of rebel / "evil" fey (not to be confused with the Fell), as well as ice-themed fey and "unselee" fey. Murrigan is an exiled Eldar. He had once held dominion over the winterlands of the Wyldwood, his authority waxing and waning with the cycle of the seasons. This was insufficient for Murigan, who felt that their war with the fell needed singular leadership, and that he was better suited to rule than Sumarar. He attempted to wrest control of the Wyldwood from Sumarar some time during the First Age, and when he failed, his punishment was to be cast into the Empty Night, along with those who followed his failed rebellion. ### Nyala, Lady of Beauty and Grace Ruler of the trolls. Nyala was always a being of peace and tranquility. When the war between the fey and the fell broke out, Nyala and Sumarar were near equals in terms of power and popularity, but Murigan and Tyrmaria made powerful cases for bringing war to the fell, and Sumarar sided with them. Few resolute pacfiists remained loyal to Nyala. As the war dragged on for countless centuries, Nyala attempted to take her followers to the material plane to escape the fighting. This angered many of the Eldar, and she was officially cast out, though Nyala maintains some few hidden strongholds in the Wyldwood.
