# Sylurian ##### Sill-OO-ree-uhn The Sylurian is the name of the interconnected unconsciousness of all life. From humble tufts of grass to mighty oaks, mites and worms to the great leviathans of the deep, all living things are part of the Sylurian to a degree. The deepest connections can be found among life that exhibits no self-awareness (as people tend to define the term), thus it takes a great deal of discipline, wisdom and concentration for thinking being to be able to quiet their mind and tap into the will of the Sylurian. It is not a "god" of nature as people tend to think of such things. Such ideas usually boil down to very person-centric notion of rulership and thralldom. The Sylurian is not the ruler of life any more than the beach is the ruler sand, or the ocean rules drops of water. It is the sum total of will of all life to simply be.
