# Karsite Kingdoms The Karsite Kingdoms are a collection of nations situation in the Stillands at the Southwestern leg of Antaris. The stilllands are so-called because Magic simply does not function. Karsani religion revolves around a creator figure and the false gods known as "Etami," who stole the power of creation from the creator and with it created the corrupt "black magic" of mortal kind. The war of the Etami was fought between those who used magic for the good of all vs. those who wanted to use if for their own ends. One of the Etami came to realize that the only correct answer was to forswear the stolen magic and return it to the creator. Stories differ on if the Stillands are the result of the creator's mercy, the culimination of the sacrifice, the result of his followers creating guardians that still the magic, or the overthrow of the Etami by the Karsani, but the effect is apparent and well known.
