Zurials with high Intelligence scores can learn any languages they want (except Druidic and other secret languages). See the [Languages of Temnia] page for more information about these languages. #### defense racial trait **Willful (2 RP):** Zurial gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws to resist mind-affecting effects, unless they are also emotion effects. #### Feat and Skill Racial Traits **Talented (2 RP):** Zurials gain any one of the following as a bonus feat: Acrobatic, Alertness, Animal Affinity, Athletic, Deceitful, Deft Hands, Magical Aptitude, Meticulous, Persuasive, Prodigy, Scholar, Self-Sufficient, Stealthy. #### Magical Racial Traits **Essence (2 RP):** Zurials start play with 1 bonus essence point in their pool. **Passionate (2 RP):** Zurials add +1 to the DC of their spells and spell-like abilities with the emotion descriptor.
