# Ela'drin
##### (el-uh-DRIN)
Born of the union of the Anor'ithil, the Elda'drin are the longest enduring of Ael'vin people. During the Second Age, the Atani commanded a great empire that spanned into every corner of Temnia. They were arguably the greatest of the five great empires of the second age, though the crucible of the **Great Cataclysm** has made such claims difficult to substantiate. The atani who lived in the southern hemisphere endured, while the northern Ela'drin were sundered into the Ylvani.
## Physical Description
Ela'drin stand slightly taller than humans. Like other Ael'vin, possess fine, almost delicate facial features. Their ears are stand wide, and come to soft points, but less so than their ancestors. Eladrin eyes are wide and almond-shaped. They hold a slim and slender physique, even the strongest of them look athletic rather than muscular. Edladrin have imperceptibly fine facial and body hair, many even lacking eyebrows. While they do not heal any quicker than other humanoids, Ela'drin rarely suffer scarring, and even those that do typically have those scars fade within a few years.

# Racial Traits (13 RP)
### Standard Racial Traits
- **Ability Score Racial Traits (2 RP):** Ela'drin are graceful and knowledgeable, but not psyically imposing. They gain +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, –2 Strength and –2 Constitution.
- **Size:** Ela'drin are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- **Type:** Ela'drin are Humanoids with the elf subtype.
- **Base Speed:** Ela'drin have a base speed of 30 feet.
- **Languages:** Ela'drin begin play speaking Common and ?. Ela'drin with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: ?, ?, ? and any human language. See the Linguistics skill page for more information about these languages.
#### Defense Racial Traits
- **Elven Immunities:** Ela'drin are immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.
- **Serenity (1 RP):** Ela'drin gain a +1 racial bonus on all saving throws against emotion effects. This bonus stacks with the bonus granted by elven immunities.
#### Feat and Skill Racial Traits
- **Keen Senses:** Ela'drin receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
#### Magical Racial Traits
- **Elven Magic:** Ela'drin receive a +2 racial bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance. In addition, Ael'vin receive a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft skill checks made to identify the properties of magic items.
#### Offense Racial Traits
- **Weapon Familiarity:** Ela'drin are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), longswords, rapiers, and shortbows (including composite shortbows), and treat any weapon with the word “elven” in its name as a martial weapon.
#### Senses Racial Traits
- **Low-Light Vision:** Ela'drin can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.

## High Ela'drin (42 RP)
The Atani was a vast empire in the second age, ruled by powerful wizards capable of legendary feats and wielding untold power. The lords of the Atani empire had innate magic that ran stronger than their kin.
### Alternate Racial Traits
High Ela'drin have the following alternate racial traits in addition to the standard racial traits:
* **Spell-Like Abilities:** Constant—*detect magic*; At will—*light*, *daylight*, *faerie fire*, *feather fall*, *levitate*; 1/day—*divine favor*, *dispel magic*, *suggestion*. Save DCs are Charisma-based.
* **Spell Resistance:** Ela'drin lords possess spell resistance (SR) equal to 11 plus their total number of class levels.
* **Darkvision:** Ela'drin lords can see perfectly in the dark up to 60 feet.
## Muun (16 RP)
Muun are Ela'drin from deep within the forests of Quan Shu. Long before the **Great Cataclysm**, the Muun had isolated themselves within the world of spirits and dreams, _Lo Pen Muu_. Muun ela'drin have pale skin with blueish-grey freckles that are subtly reflective. They are known as Spirit or Moon elves.
### Alternate Racial Traits
Muun have the following alternate racial traits by default:
- **Ability Score Racial Traits:** Muun are agile and have an otherworldly beauty, but like most elves, they are not sturdy. They gain +2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, –2 Constitution. These ability score modifiers replace the standard ability score modifiers.
- **Type:** Muun are humanoids with the elf and extraplanar subtype.
- **Otherworldly Touch (Su) (3 RP):** Muun are able to channel their spirits into the world beyond. Melee weapons they wield are treated as magical for the purposes of damaging incorporeal creatures, and armor they wear applies 1 point of its armor bonus against incorporeal touch attacks. This ability replaces elven magic.
