## Physical Description
Jaebrins rarely top 5 feet in height, and have hearty if not stocky builds. Jaebrins have fine features and pointed ears, making them easily mistaken for ael'vin, but their mouths bristle with needlelike teeth. Their fair eyes are oversized, giving them an alluring or unsettling appearance, depending on the lighting and their mood. All jaebrins have shiny hair of nearly any color, but red and raven are most common

# Racial Traits (22 RP)
### Standard Racial Traits
- **Ability Score Racial Traits:** Jabrin are naturally charming and surprisingly robust, but not physically powerful. They gain +2 Constitution, +2 Charisma, –2 Strength.
- **Size:** Jaebrins are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- **Type:** Jaebrins are fey.
- **Base Speed:** Jaebrin's base land speed is 30 feet.
- **Languages:** Jaebrins begin play speaking Common and ?. Jaebrins with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: ?,?,?,?,?,? and ?. See the [[Languages of Temnia]] page for more information about these languages.
#### Defense Racial Traits
- **Charmed Life (4 RP):** Jaebrin gain a +1 luck bonus to Armor Class.
- **Jaebrin Immunities (4 RP):** Jaebrin are immune to enchantment spells and effects.
#### Feat and Skill Racial Traits
- **Allure (4 RP):** Jaebrin gain a +2 bonus on Bluff, Diplomacy and Perform checks. In addition, when they use Diplomacy to shift a creature’s attitude, they can do so up to three steps up rather than just two.
- **Greed:** Jaebrins gain a +2 bonus on Appraise checks to determine the price of non-magical goods that contain precious metals or gemstones.
- **Magical Instinct (1 RP):** Jaebrins treat Spellcraft and Knowledge (Arcana) as class skills and can make such checks untrained.
#### Magical Racial Traits
- **Enchanter (2 RP):** Jaebrin gain a +1 bonus to the saving throw DCs of spells of the enchantment school that they cast.
- **Feign Enchantment (Su) (1 RP):** When targeted with an enchantment spell or spell-like ability, Jaebrin instinctually know what the intended effect was. The jaebrin can then pretend to be affected, even altering the aura of magic around them. This allows them to fool _detect magic_, _arcane sight_, and similar effects. Only by winning an opposed Sense Motive check against the jaebrin’s Bluff check result can a viewer discern that the fey is not enchanted.
#### Offense Racial Traits
- **Bite:** Jaebrin have powerful jaws and sharp teeth, granting them a bite attack (1d3 damage).
- **Sap Will (2 RP):** Any creature damaged by a jaebrin's bite attack must succeed on a Will save or take a –4 penalty on Will saves for 1 minute. The effect of multiple bites doesn’t stack, but does extend the duration. This is a mind-affecting effect. The save DC is Constitution-based.
#### Senses Racial Traits
- **Low-Light Vision:** Jaebrin can see twice as far as a race with normal vision in conditions of dim light.

- **Cold Iron Anathema (–2 RP):** Jaebrin have a difficult time wielding weapons made of cold iron. They take a –2 penalty on any attack roll made with a cold iron weapon, even one made only partially out of cold iron, such as a cold iron spear or a bow firing cold iron arrows.<br>
